Other Computing SUPPORT Resources

The IT Help Center provides personal computing support to Boston University students, faculty, and staff. Some departments or programs also have their own computing support resources, described in the table below. CAS, ENG, and SMG have extensive departmental computing support resources, so faculty and staff in those departments (and students in SMG and LAW) might want to use their departmental resource as a primary point of contact.

Administrative Offices: Exchange/AD/Outlook supported by ISPS Many administrative or business offices including WBUR, Residence Life, etc. use an Exchange Server and are supported by Information Systems Planning and Support (ISPS). Alumni Link The Alumni Link offers a variety of services to alumni of Boston University, including E-Mail Forwarding for Life (EFL). 617-353-4000
CAS: College of Arts and Sciences CAS Computer Services Group (http://cashelp.bu.edu) coordinates support for staff and faculty in all CAS departments. They support BU-owned machines only. 617-353-5930
CELOP: Center for English Language and Orientation Programs CELOP's Multimedia Language Lab (MLL) supports students, faculty and staff of CELOP as well as staff of International Programs (Study Abroad) and the International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO). 617-358-2499
CFA: College of Fine Arts The College of Fine Arts Information Technology Office (CFA ITO) provides technical support for CFA faculty, staff and students. The Help Desk is located at 855 Commonwealth Avenue, Room 204.

During the academic year, the office is staffed all hours that the CFA Computer Lab is open (see schedule at http://cfaito.bu.edu/lab). 

Color printing resources and a graphics Mac lab are open and available to the entire BU community. See the CFA ITO site for more information, including print pricing. Faculty and staff may also borrow presentation equipment at no cost.
