Macintosh viruses

Macintosh viruses and security vulnerabilities do exist. To help keep yourself safe, make sure you use a good anti-virus program such as McAfee VirusScan , which is free to BU students, faculty, and staff. If you'd like to learn more about Macintosh security issues, we recommend the SecureMac web page, or contact us at the IT Help Center.
